Gill Capital, a Singapore-based operator of multiple retail franchises including H&M across Thailand and Indonesia, outgrew its original POS early in its expansion from eight stores. The legacy system was closed and hard to integrate with their ERP, required manual file uploads, couldn’t handle dynamic discounts, and was too inefficient for a planned rollout to 300–400 checkouts.
After evaluating vendors, Gill Capital implemented LS One for its flexibility, SQL-based data model and easy ERP integration. The customized rollout enabled automated, scheduled promotions and dynamic pricing, faster end-of-day data transfer, and automated reporting (including emailed reports). The result was improved revenue, timely management insights down to outlet and item level, and a scalable, more efficient retail operation.
