Estonian retailer gets better results with more thorough analysis

Optimera Estonia AS, part of Saint‑Gobain Distribution, operates 11 Ehituse ABC retail stores selling construction and interior goods. Facing an outdated Nav 3.6 system that could not support mobile workstations or business analysis, the company worked with LS Retail partner BCS Itera and chose to upgrade to LS Nav 7.1 to optimize and automate processes.

A lengthy, company‑wide analysis and close change management guided the implementation, keeping as many standard LS Nav processes as possible and bringing in Softsystems OÜ as a power user. The new system delivered central stock management, automatic purchase‑order generation, automated accounting and document confirmation, a more robust technical setup and better product availability; nearly 200 employees now use LS Nav daily and Optimera plans to roll out additional modules.
