Deacons East Africa is a leading fashion retailer with 37 department stores across Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, offering apparel, footwear, homewares and well‑known franchises. To support its vision of “passionately connecting customers to their desired lifestyle” and to manage rapid growth, Deacons needed a one‑stop, integrated retail management system that could deliver real‑time sales and stock visibility, flexible POS, loyalty, promotions and ecommerce integration without costly legacy integrations.

Deacons selected LS Nav (integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and engaged Just Dynamics to implement it in a seven‑month, big‑bang rollout across all stores. The solution unified finance, procurement, distribution, warehousing, POS and back office, enabled real‑time data and targeted promotions, and supported the launch of the DEAL loyalty program (10,000 members in two weeks, 20,000 in one month). The result: better inventory and sales insight, more effective, store‑level promotions, targeted customer outreach and a scalable platform that supports ongoing expansion.
