When Sweden deregulated its vehicle inspection market in 2010, Besikta set out to raise the standard for inspections by treating modern cars as the complex, computer-rich vehicles they are. The company grew quickly to 78 stations in southern Sweden and Mälardalen with an ambition to improve safety and deliver a superior customer experience, but needed a modern IT solution to manage operations and customer interactions efficiently.
Besikta chose an integrated system built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and LS Nav (with Dynamics NAV ERP), implemented by CGI Sweden. The rollout was fast because most requirements matched the standard solution; a main customization was the CRM-based UI. Today all POS terminals are online, delivering a fast, easy checkout, simple terminal setup, real-time sales statistics for timely decisions, and a scalable platform that supports better customer communication, mobility and operational efficiency.
