Bellon is a family-founded hardware retail chain from the Dominican Republic, operating six stores and warehouses across the island. As the business grew, its 20-year-old in-house system could no longer meet needs for a single, integrated view of operations; Bellon required a scalable, easy-to-use platform with fully integrated financials, compliance with Dominican fiscal rules, strong warehouse management, mobile capabilities, hybrid cloud/local operation and continuous updates.
Bellon selected LS Nav, implemented by partner Dextra, a standard end-to-end solution covering POS through accounting and built on retail best practices. The new system delivered fiscal compliance, optimized replenishment, improved loyalty and promotions (member management, gift cards, coupons), better in-store staff management and loss prevention, and greater customer responsiveness via mobile POS and inventory; LS BI was added to provide analytics for future planning.
