Azbuka Vikusa - Customer Case Study

Azbuka Vkusa is an upscale Russian supermarket chain with 11 stores, over 3,000 m² of retail space and more than 1,000 employees, serving middle- and upper‑class customers. By 2001 its homegrown information system could no longer support growing business needs—most critically it lacked cost-calculation and modern retail automation—so the company chose Impact Soft to implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV with LS Nav.

The new LS Nav solution created a distributed architecture with centralized management, synchronized POS-to-head‑office data and support for promotions, discounts, barcode handling and detailed sales reporting; rollout began in mid-2001 and all stores were unified by year-end. As a result Azbuka Vkusa achieved much more accurate stock analysis and distribution, enabled direct store deliveries for perishable items, streamlined logistics, doubled turnover in one year, expanded wholesale operations and built internal IT expertise to extend the system further.
