ISGEC ensures global quality standards for exports to 80 countries with LRQA

ISGEC Group, a heavy engineering equipment manufacturer, required a rigorous commitment to quality to maintain its leading status and support its global exports to 80 countries. Their challenge was to establish and maintain quality standards that met diverse global specifications for their extensive product portfolio. To meet this challenge, they partnered with vendor LRQA for third-party certification and conformity assessment services.

LRQA provided solutions including the development of a quality management system and independent inspection services across their international network. This included acting as a Notified Body for CE-marked equipment and an ASME Authorized Inspection Agency for several facilities. The result for ISGEC was the assurance that its quality standards met global specifications, which facilitated international export and offered new growth opportunities, including the fabrication of nuclear power equipment from two of its facilities.
