The Hartford, a Fortune 500 insurance company, faced challenges with learner fatigue and lost productivity from its traditional, lengthy online ethics and compliance training. They partnered with LRN Corporation to create a more engaging and relevant learning experience that would also reduce the financial impact of taking employees off the phone for training. Their goal was to move towards a values-based culture with role-specific content.
LRN implemented an experiential learning solution consisting of custom video vignettes and facilitator guides. This allowed managers to lead short, 30-minute training sessions during regular staff meetings, focusing on role-specific dilemmas. The solution from LRN eliminated special scheduling, drastically reduced lost productivity, and received positive feedback for being more engaging.
