A LRN Corporation Case Study
The Clinton Global Initiative, facing the challenges of a new interconnected and transparent global landscape, sought to strengthen its members' organizational cultures to navigate shifting financial cycles, increased scrutiny, and complex operational demands. To address this, CGI partnered with LRN Corporation to establish its Practice Forum for Principled Leadership, Performance & Operations, utilizing LRN's methodology and Governance, Culture and Leadership Assessment (GCLA).
LRN implemented its proven framework, working with two selected non-profits, Population Services International and Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, over a two-year, $1.5 million commitment. The solution involved customizing the GCLA for each partner to conduct a cultural "MRI," which identified specific strengths and opportunities. This led to the creation of distinct working groups and initiatives, endorsed by senior leadership, to embed values-based behaviors into their strategies. The result was both organizations embarking on significant culture journeys, becoming more resilient and better equipped to achieve their missions through a more principled approach to leadership and operations.
