Beef&Steak wanted to turn the word-of-mouth recommendations their customers were already making into a more effective referral program and reward loyal shoppers. Using LoyaltyLion, they needed a simple way to encourage existing customers to refer friends and help drive more traffic and repeat business.
LoyaltyLion implemented its refer-a-friend feature, offering 200 points worth $3 for each successful referral, shared in just two clicks via Facebook, Twitter, and email. The campaign reached 10,901 people and generated 2,114 new visitors, including 1,198 from Facebook; Beef&Steak estimated that buying that traffic through AdWords would have cost at least $1,412.
