How HTC VIVE uses Social Chat to Grow Its Direct to Consumer Sales, Engagement, and Content Offering

HTC VIVE partnered with Loup to support the launch of VIVE Flow, a new tentpole VR product aimed at expanding beyond gaming into health, wellness, mindfulness, and the Metaverse. The challenge was to clearly communicate the value of VR across multiple use cases while reaching new audiences and overcoming the category’s complexity and high price point.

Using Loup’s live shopping solution and HD live-streamed, interactive shopping events, HTC was able to showcase VIVE Flow’s portability, immersive graphics, and versatility while letting viewers ask questions in real time. The results were strong: HTC saw a 266% higher purchase rate, 264% higher average order value, and 302% higher CRM click-through rate, helping drive both sales and customer engagement through Loup.
