Yamaha Motor, a global manufacturer of motorcycles and watercraft, faced fragmented and duplicate customer records coming from multiple dealer and division sources, which hurt deliverability, recall compliance and their ability to analyze re-buy behavior. To address this, Yamaha sought real-time validation and standardized capture—deploying Loqate solutions (Address Verification, Email Verification and type-ahead capture) alongside Oracle’s EDQ to improve data quality across Marine, Motor Sports, Golf Car and Watercraft divisions.
Loqate’s email validation and global address verification were integrated into Yamaha Motor’s registration and call-center workflows (via Oracle EDQ), providing real-time verification, type-ahead address entry and bulk cleansing. The result: a sharp reduction in false registrations, higher email deliverability and sender reputation, faster data capture, and the elimination of hundreds of thousands of duplicate or incorrect contacts (previously an estimated 200,000–400,000), enabling a single “golden record” per customer for accurate re-buy analysis and improved regulatory communications.
