Rush Health, a healthcare network supporting member hospitals and care providers, needed a simple geo-location service that could integrate with its EMR and improve patient matching, referral management, and care recommendations. Inaccurate, outdated, and duplicate address data in the Epic system were making it harder to direct patients to the right providers and creating friction in both patient and provider experiences. Rush Health turned to Loqate, using Address Verification and Geocoding to support these goals.

With Loqate, Rush Health batch-ran patient and provider addresses through the Verify API to standardize, authenticate, and enrich records in Epic, adding latitude and longitude for precise location-based referrals. The result was more accurate patient matching, better provider recommendations based on proximity, and stronger referral communication and patient experiences. By improving address quality and geocode reliability, Loqate helped Rush Health reduce travel burden, increase satisfaction, and streamline value-based care coordination.
