St George’s NHS Foundation Trust, the largest healthcare provider in South West London with over 9,000 staff serving 1.3 million people, needed to move rapidly from in-person meetings to a secure remote conferencing solution when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. With no existing platform in place, Dr Peter Green turned to LoopUp to keep frontline teams connected and maintain critical services.

LoopUp deployed its remote meeting service quickly — creating accounts, hosting a 15-minute intro and completing setup within hours — and provided the service free to the trust during the crisis. LoopUp’s ISO/IEC 27001‑certified, end-to-end encrypted platform (phone-line audio, screen sharing, recording and Large Meeting presets) supported daily COVID-19 briefings of 100–150 participants, was adopted across the organisation, and delivered reliable, secure meetings that enabled staff to continue essential work remotely.
