McLaren Building better customer communication with LoopUp

McLaren, a UK and UAE construction and property group of over 700 employees across five offices, needed to modernize its communications during a cloud transformation while relying on a small eight-person IT team. Facing Skype for Business end-of-life and the sudden shift to remote work in 2020, McLaren engaged LoopUp—building on a prior relationship that had them using LoopUp’s hosted Skype for Business—to implement cloud telephony and migrate telephony into Microsoft Teams using Direct Routing.

LoopUp designed and executed a three-week migration, connecting Microsoft’s Phone System to the PSTN over LoopUp’s premium voice network (13 Tier 1 carriers, auto-failover, PESQ scoring and real-time carrier redundancy), migrated all phone numbers, recreated call groups and auto-attendants, and delivered “train the trainer” adoption support. The result was rapid, organization-wide adoption of Teams for voice, meetings and file sharing, stable call quality during the pandemic, no negative user feedback or support issues, and a resilient cloud telephony platform—achievements McLaren attributes directly to LoopUp.
