Panduro, the Swedish arts and crafts retailer, wanted its website search experience to better reflect the playfulness of its brand and to reduce the high drop-off it saw around search usage. To tackle this, Panduro worked with Loop54 to improve on-site product search and make it easier for visitors to discover products, inspiration content, and related items.
Loop54 advised Panduro on several search UX changes, including always-visible search, scoped autocomplete, visible filters, searchable inspirational content, and related results. The impact was strong: between February and May, revenue was 36.2% higher in 2018 than in 2017, per-session value rose 62.26%, transactions increased 39.8%, desktop search conversion rates climbed 34.85%, and mobile conversion rates surged 113.21% with a 147% boost in per-search value.
