D&D London, a high-end restaurant group with 43 restaurants worldwide, faced the challenge of keeping staff informed and supported through the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 30th they launched D&D Connect, an online learning and communications hub powered by Looop, to centralize business updates, Coronavirus Job Retention Q&As, health and wellness resources, financial and emotional support, volunteering opportunities, and even cooking lessons from their chefs.
Using Looop, D&D’s L&D team rapidly created, edited and distributed timely, company-specific resources via Campaigns, with mobile and desktop access and push notifications to keep furloughed and active staff informed. The platform enabled ongoing dialogue through comments, has been “very well received” by employees, supports all 43 restaurants and is planned for global rollout beginning in New York and Paris.
