Case Study: ASOS achieves high manager engagement with on-demand learning from Looop

A Looop Case Study

Preview of the ASOS Case Study

How ASOS Got Their People Wanting More Online Learning

ASOS faced poor engagement with traditional online courses when trying to support people managers during Performance Review time. Working with Looop, they opted not to launch courses but to publish short, ASOS‑specific digital resources on a Looop learning app (hosted outside their LMS) so managers could get practical answers at the point of need.

Looop’s solution—mobile‑accessible, contextually relevant micro‑resources soft‑launched by email—drove strong uptake: an average of five resources accessed per manager visit, over a third of managers viewed all nine resources, and 25% accessed content “on‑the‑go.” Managers continue to use the materials outside review cycles, user feedback was highly positive, no support calls were required, and the approach sparked other manager-led initiatives—demonstrating measurable improvements in engagement and on‑the‑job support delivered by Looop.
