Discovery Communications, a global media company, struggled to engage thousands of geographically dispersed employees with an outdated LMS: content was hard to find, often irrelevant or Americanised, and users accessed the system only once or twice a year. To deliver fresh, mobile-friendly, on-demand learning and increase everyday engagement, Discovery piloted Looop’s learner-focused platform as part of its Global Mentorship Program.

Looop worked closely with Discovery to create targeted learning bundles, helped produce short video content, and supported an email campaign to drive adoption. The result: within a month over 45 percent of users had accessed Looop (most returning multiple times), learners were commenting and requesting content, the program expanded to other groups, and Discovery reduced costs because Looop proved much cheaper and more used than the old LMS. Looop’s platform and hands-on support were central to these gains.
