Endress+Hauser, a global provider of measuring instruments, services, and solutions for industrial process engineering, needed a more secure way to share confidential Board of Directors documents. Previously, meeting materials were sent by email, creating security risks because some board members were external and lacked access to internal email, and control over documents was lost once they left the company’s servers. Loomion’s board management software was chosen to replace this insecure process.

Loomion implemented a cloud-based board communication platform that put all meeting documents into a secure app on board members’ tablets, with features for comments, notifications, and personalized meeting folders. The rollout took just three days, including one day of administrator training and about 10 minutes per board member for installation and onboarding. As a result, Endress+Hauser reported significantly improved transparency, security, and efficiency, with strong acceptance and no resistance from board members.
