Serving up a food delivery experience that puts the customer first

HungerStation, the first food delivery app in Saudi Arabia, needed to outgrow an aging infrastructure that was slowing Kubernetes operations, causing occasional downtime, and limiting its ability to release new features quickly. To support millions of customers and more than 35,000 partners, the company turned to Google Cloud Platform for a more scalable, reliable, and secure cloud foundation.

Google Cloud Platform implemented Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Google Cloud operations suite, BigQuery, and security tools such as Cloud IAM, Assured Workloads, and Cloud DLP. The result was 2.5x more daily deliveries, virtually eliminated downtime, improved cost efficiency and time to market, and 36% year-over-year revenue growth, while also enabling new services and stronger data-driven innovation.
