Sefamerve Increasing ecommerce conversion rates by 20%

Sefamerve, a Turkish ecommerce company founded in 2010, sells women’s clothing, including Islamic and plus-size ranges, across 65 countries. As its marketing campaigns drove sudden traffic spikes, its existing hosted servers could not handle demand, causing slow performance and downtime. Sefamerve turned to Google Cloud Platform and implementation partner Global IT for a more flexible infrastructure.

Google Cloud Platform migrated Sefamerve’s infrastructure to Compute Engine, with Cloud Pub/Sub and Cloud Load Balancing, enabling easier scaling and simpler server management for a small IT team. The move cut downtime from 24 hours a year to just 2 to 4 hours, halved page load times, doubled campaign page views, and increased conversion rates by 20%.
