SeaArt Making AI image generation accessible for everyone with cloud

SeaArt, a Singapore-based generative AI startup founded in 2023, wanted to make AI image generation easier for everyone while supporting rapid global growth. Its challenge was to run demanding ML workloads cost-effectively, simplify DevOps for a very small team, speed up global page delivery, and gain real-time visibility into platform performance. SeaArt turned to Google Cloud Platform, using services including Cloud GPUs, Spot VMs, GKE, Cloud CDN, Cloud Load Balancing, BigQuery, and Firebase.

Google Cloud Platform helped SeaArt build a fully managed environment in about a week, enabling one-person DevOps operations and high-performance AI inference at scale. The results included a 30% reduction in infrastructure costs, 90% faster first-time web page loads globally, 99.5% image loading availability, and no scalability issues even as the platform grew 20x in five months to about 60,000 daily active users.
