PaperCut, a print management software company, wanted to extend its flagship PaperCut MF product with cloud-based printing analytics and a service that would help customers reduce paper usage. To stay relevant and modernize its platform, PaperCut turned to Google Cloud Platform for its cloud infrastructure and services, including App Engine, Compute Engine, and BigQuery.

Google Cloud Platform helped PaperCut launch PaperCut Views, a cloud service that now tracks about 45,000 printing devices in real time and supports more than 19,000 customers. The platform delivered scalable, secure performance with up to 10x traffic spikes, sub-second response times, about a 30% reduction in operating costs, and build deployment times cut from 30 minutes to just a few minutes.
