Bharat Light & Power, a leading renewable energy and technology company in India, needed a more agile way to manage the huge volumes of data coming from wind turbines and industrial equipment so it could predict failures, improve uptime, and reduce maintenance costs. Its Orion AI and IoT platform also had to support monitoring, reporting, and analytics across complex industrial environments.

Looker helped Bharat Light & Power build a cloud-based analytics and AI environment that could ingest and process device data at scale and power visual reporting for customers. The solution supported monitoring for 2,000 wind turbines and processing 8 million data points per day, while helping BLP increase manufacturing productivity by at least 5% and reduce costs by 10%.
