Knorex Turns to Google Cloud Machine Learning Engine to enhance real-time bidding in programmatic advertising

Knorex, a Singapore-based digital advertising technology company, needed a highly available, low-latency platform to power its Knorex XPO programmatic advertising system, which must process massive volumes of bid requests in real time. To support growth and manage costs, Knorex turned to Google Cloud Platform, including Google Compute Engine and Google Cloud Machine Learning Engine.

Google Cloud Platform helped Knorex run bidding, big data processing, and machine learning workloads across regions, with Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud SQL improving scalability and operations. The results were significant: Knorex processed hundreds of thousands of bid requests in under 100 milliseconds, cut cloud costs by up to 30%, reduced instance setup time from 2 days to 3 hours, and shortened machine learning model training and deployment from days to as little as 1 hour.
