SkinVision, founded in 2011 by researchers and dermatologists, offers a mobile app that assesses skin cancer risk from hi‑res photos and projects saving 250,000 lives over the next decade. Rapid growth to over a million users left data scattered across Postgres, Asana, Zendesk, Intercom and Google Analytics, with teams in the Netherlands and Romania facing inconsistent definitions, access issues and time‑consuming manual data pulls—blocking a single source of truth.

To fix this, SkinVision consolidated data into Amazon Redshift using Stitch and implemented Looker for governed, self‑service analytics.
