SCG, the largest cement and building material conglomerate in Thailand and Southeast Asia, needed a more agile, scalable, and data-driven IT environment to support growth, customer-centric services, and faster decision-making. The company wanted to move beyond its legacy on-premises systems and improve analytics, reporting, and enterprise visibility, and it worked with Looker as part of its Google Cloud data and analytics stack.

Looker helped SCG transform raw BigQuery data into actionable analytics through customized dashboards, while SCG also modernized core workloads on Google Cloud and migrated SAP ECC to S/4HANA. The results included 63% faster queries, 77% faster analytics report delivery, and up to 52% lower operational and data warehousing costs.
