Case Study: Good Apple Digital achieves democratized data access and faster, scalable reporting with Looker

A Looker Case Study

Preview of the Good Apple Digital Case Study

Delivering democratized data to customers and employees at Good Apple

Good Apple is a data-driven marketing agency that outgrew its spreadsheet-based reporting as client data volumes exploded across ad servers, social platforms, analytics and CRM systems. Manual report building became time-consuming and brittle — one client’s weekly report required 72 hours of work (about 3,600 hours a year) — and the agency lacked enough technical staff to scale analytics or customize reporting for many clients.

Good Apple built a proprietary platform called Crisp, migrated storage and processing to Snowflake, then added Rivery to consolidate 14 data sources (about 200 daily pulls) and Looker for visualization and self-service. The integrated stack automated ELT, let nontechnical analysts rerun and reshape pulls, and delivered single-source, interactive reports in Looker—eliminating workflow bottlenecks, freeing up substantial analyst time, and enabling faster, more actionable media optimization for clients.
