Conrad Electronic, a leading B2B sourcing platform in Germany with access to 2.3 million customers and a marketplace of more than six million products, needed a fast way to give suppliers actionable insights to manage assortments and react to COVID-19–driven demand peaks. Time-to-value was critical: Conrad wanted marketplace sellers to gain near‑instant visibility into product performance so they could maintain service quality, enter new markets and adjust offerings quickly.
Conrad extended its relationship with Google Cloud by embedding Looker analytics (integrated with BigQuery) into its reporting platform, delivering seller dashboards in under a month. Suppliers now access metrics such as product page traffic, price comparisons and customer interest, enabling rapid optimization of portfolios; after a successful proof‑of‑concept, the solution was rolled out across Conrad’s entire partner network.
