Vaillant enables group-wide reporting according to international standards (IFRS) and worldwide planning based on arcplan Enterprise

The Vaillant Group, a global heating and air‑conditioning manufacturer with about 8,600 employees and over €1.8 billion in revenue, faced inconsistent internal reporting and no group‑wide planning system after several acquisitions. Data came from multiple operational modules, producing redundant and conflicting figures, and the company needed to harmonize reporting to meet IFRS requirements across its international units.

Together with Selbach Information Systems, Vaillant implemented the Vaillant Information Management (VIM) system using SAP BW as a single reporting database and arcplan Enterprise as the web front end. The solution provides unified IFRS-compliant reporting and browser-based planning templates that upload R/3 table data to BW, now used by over 600 users in more than 100 countries, speeding planning cycles, improving data quality, and extending reporting to R&D, market research, headcount and investment modules.
