Deutsche Telekom AG, Europe’s largest telecommunications company, faced the challenge of turning vast, dispersed data into timely, actionable information for senior management. Reliant on bulky Excel sheets, printed reports and emailed attachments, executives spent excessive time hunting for relevant figures and needed a standardized, graphical reporting solution that worked on desktop and mobile devices.

The company implemented arcplan Enterprise (with Oracle Essbase) as a standardized management cockpit, giving around 800 active users access to 15–20 templates covering some 500 key figures. Managers can now pull near–real‑time graphical reports at the push of a button, eliminating paper, speeding planning and decision-making, reducing errors and providing a scalable, consistent reporting interface across the group.
