Jamul Indian Village of California drives 16+ million impressions with Loma Media

The Jamul Indian Village of California, part of a coalition of Tribal Nations, faced the critical challenge of addressing the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) in San Diego County. They needed a coordinated, culturally sensitive outreach initiative to raise public awareness and provide resources. LOMA Media served as the communications partner for this effort, providing services including branding, campaigns, social media, and video production.

LOMA Media launched the MMIP San Diego initiative, combining culturally grounded storytelling with a high-profile public outreach campaign. This approach utilized authentic narratives from Tribal members and established a digital resource center. The results were significant, as the coalition more than doubled in size and the campaign generated over 16 million impressions. The website became the highest-authority MMIP resource in California, and the project earned a Gold Award from the American Marketing Association.
