A Lokalise Case Study
Webgains, a London‑headquartered B2B affiliate marketing network operating in 14 markets, needed to move from ad‑hoc CSV-based translation work to a structured localization process as it rolled out a new advertiser platform. Because English was the default and there wasn’t a dedicated translator, preparing translation batches and managing 14 languages had been slow and error-prone—so Webgains adopted the Lokalise localization software to centralize copy and streamline workflows.
Using Lokalise, Webgains implemented a continuous localization workflow with tagging, tasks, the in‑context editor and translation suggestions; external translators and internal reviewers work in small batches managed via Lokalise tasks. This change cut translation batch preparation time from about 1 hour to roughly 15 minutes, helped produce cleaner code, made localization visible earlier in development, and enabled focused projects (four active languages with a 14‑language backup) while benefiting from Lokalise’s responsive support.
