How to manage more than 30 apps in 15 languages without stress and mistakes

MWM (Music World Media), a Paris-based publisher of more than 30 music apps and the #1 music apps publisher on the App Store and Google Play with over 450 million downloads, faced a slow, error-prone localization workflow. They were managing translations for about 15 languages by exporting keys to Google Sheets and sending them to translators, which led to missing or wrong texts, stressful manual updates, and long release cycles—so they evaluated TMS options and selected Lokalise.

Using Lokalise, MWM created a project per app, automated syncing via the Lokalise API, and ordered translations through integrated providers like Gengo while leveraging features such as screenshots, comments, tags, and powerful search. Lokalise enabled a fully automated update flow, reduced errors, and made developers and PMs much more productive—launching a new language is now 10x faster than the old Google Sheets process, the prior 1–2 week localization per app is eliminated, and MWM has grown from 5–10 localized apps to over 30.
