Antescofo restyles the music practice with the help of AI and Lokalise

Antescofo, a Paris-based startup that helps amateur musicians play with orchestras via its Metronaut mobile app, faced a chaotic spreadsheet-based localization workflow that slowed releases and led to missing or inconsistent translations. To scale into new markets and coordinate marketing, design, developers and external translators, Antescofo adopted Lokalise in early 2018, using Lokalise’s Live SDK, CLI, Sketch integration and mobile SDKs/APIs.

Lokalise replaced the old process with a synchronized translation management system that sped up integration, cut coding hours, and made minor text updates instantaneous (migration via Lokalise CLI “took seconds”). With Lokalise, the team completes localization jobs far faster, improves translation accuracy with screenshots and tags, avoids app releases for text fixes, and plans to add at least three more languages—boosting consistency and time-to-market.
