Form3 is a payments-as-a-service provider that runs a complex, AWS-native microservices architecture to process FPS, BACS, CHAPS, SEPA and SWIFT payments for banks and regulated fintechs. With more than 100 EC2 instances, containerized Java and Go services, and multiple log sources (application, ELB/ALB, system metrics and tracing tools), Form3 faced the challenge of aggregating large volumes of heterogeneous log data, separating signal from noise, and keeping close operational visibility across dev, test and production environments.

Using Logz.io, Form3 consolidated logs and metrics (via fluentd, Metricbeat and CloudWatch Lambda), benefited from automatic and custom parsing, and applied machine-learning insights to accelerate root-cause identification (for example, quickly diagnosing a database crawl exception linked to a StackOverflow discussion).
