The National Theatre, a major performing-arts organisation in London with around 1,000 staff and thousands of customers, needed to protect large volumes of personal data and process hundreds of thousands of card transactions each year. Faced with strict PCI DSS and Data Protection Act requirements, plus growing needs for fraud protection and continuous network monitoring, the theatre required a robust log-management and security-intelligence solution that could scale and support audit and compliance demands.
After selecting LogRhythm in 2008 and upgrading in 2014, the theatre gained a user-friendly, integrated security-intelligence platform that consolidated antivirus, firewall and other feeds into a single-pane-of-glass view. The solution improved compliance and auditability, surfaced prioritized events with proactive alerts for operations and the service desk, and sped remediation—resulting in clearer visibility across the estate, fewer end-user help desk calls, and better network-issue resolution.
