HENSOLDT Optronics, a global market leader in civilian and military sensor solutions with about 4,300 employees and €1 billion in annual revenue, needed comprehensive visibility across its network to better protect critical data and meet strict armaments-industry compliance requirements. The company wanted a solution that would make it easier to gather evidence for audits, strengthen security awareness, and reduce the operational burden on its IT and security teams.

Following a three-day proof of concept, HENSOLDT implemented LogRhythm’s SIEM—recommended and integrated by Thinking Objects—because it provided centralized log collection, cross-system detection, flexible reporting (including ISO‑27001 and NIST templates), predefined use cases, dashboards, and built‑in redundancies. Operated as a managed service, the solution delivered improved network-wide visibility, simplified compliance and forensic investigation, reduced in-house workload, heightened security awareness, and set the organisation on a path toward ISO‑27001 certification and further infrastructure coverage.
