Scildon, a Dutch life-and-pension insurer managing EUR 2bn for 278,000 customers, faced rising risk and inefficiency from manual, retrospective log analysis across a complex IT estate of 150+ servers and 400+ endpoints. To gain real-time insight, securely extend log access to application support, and reduce administrator workload, Scildon evaluated SIEM solutions and selected LogPoint’s SIEM platform after a proof-of-concept.

LogPoint ingested and normalized logs from network devices, servers, databases and custom applications, providing out-of-the-box integrations, an easy-to-use UI and node-based licensing for predictable costs. The deployment enabled rapid dashboarding, drastically cut manual analysis and false positives, and exceeded the team’s 50% target—delivering roughly a 75% reduction in administrators’ time while improving Scildon’s overall security posture.
