A LogPoint Case Study
PXP Solutions, a Hertfordshire‑based payment processor in the financial services industry, was facing rapid growth, rising data volumes and new datacentres that their existing security tools struggled to support. To maintain PCI DSS, SOC 2 and other compliance requirements while gaining more flexibility to create custom use cases and reports, PXP evaluated SIEM options and selected LogPoint as their SIEM vendor.
LogPoint was implemented in under a month and gave PXP’s Information Security, IT and Technical Operations teams granular log search, alerts and dashboards aligned to Governance, Risk and Compliance standards. The predictable LogPoint licensing model (based on devices, not GB/EPS) removed data‑volume cost exposure as PXP expanded, improved threat detection and auditing, and enabled faster identification of out‑of‑the‑ordinary activity while keeping compliance and budgeting predictable.
