Eissmann Group Automotive, a Germany‑based developer and manufacturer with ISO/IEC 27001 certification and over 5,000 employees, faced fragmented security tools that made visibility and management of its centralized IT infrastructure difficult. To reduce complexity and improve transparency—including SAP security monitoring—they evaluated SIEM options and selected LogPoint’s next‑gen SIEM solution (LogPoint threat intelligence and hardware appliance) to meet their requirements.
LogPoint, together with iT‑CUBE and agileSI, delivered preconfigured hardware, integrated more than 100 log sources (SAP, Windows, firewalls, proxies, RADIUS, Linux, WLAN, etc.), implemented extended content packages and trained IT staff. The centralized log management and automated continuous reporting enabled faster troubleshooting, root‑cause and forensic analysis; Eissmann estimates troubleshooting effort fell to one twentieth of previous levels, transparency and reporting improved significantly, and coverage continues to grow as new sources are added.
