A Logitech Case Study

Preview of the PopCom Case Study

Innovation in Retail Automation with Logitech PopCom uses Brio cameras for its unique digital pop-up shops

PopCom, a technology company building automated retail kiosks, faced the challenge of creating data-driven, robotic storefronts that required high-quality, fast, and easily integrated cameras. They needed a solution to capture anonymized customer analytics, such as foot traffic and demographics, to help retailers gain valuable insights in an evolving retail landscape. To overcome this, they turned to vendor Logitech for its Brio cameras.

The implemented solution centered on using two Logitech Brio cameras per kiosk, one for foot traffic analysis and another for real-time sentiment heat mapping. This allowed PopCom to gather crucial customer data for its retail clients. Using Logitech's Logi Tune software, they could also remotely manage their entire fleet of approximately 60 cameras. The results enabled PopCom to successfully deploy over 23 machines and develop future plans for features like virtual try-ons, solidifying Logitech as a key partner in their product design and expansion.
