BroadSoft launches Billing-as-a-Service and Bill-on-Behalf in Q4 2016 with LogiSense

BroadSoft, a telecommunications company providing unified communications and cloud collaboration services, faced a challenge as its service provider and reseller partners needed a modern monetization strategy. Their partners were stuck with legacy billing systems unable to support new cloud services. They required a platform to design, deploy, and bill for new services while bundling them with existing products. For resellers, a specific re-billing solution was also needed. This led them to partner with LogiSense.

LogiSense implemented its billing platform, including its Bill-on-Behalf capability, to establish a B2B2X model. This allowed BroadSoft to bundle billing and customer care into its BroadCloud solution, providing a clear market differentiator. As a result, following the launch in Q4 2016, BroadSoft successfully onboarded numerous new channel partners, increasing its traction in new territories and the enterprise market. The solution provided partners with speed to market and minimal investment, while giving BroadSoft a new revenue stream and faster international expansion.
