Reduced host infrastructure and better workspace performance for American health care provider

American Health Care Provider, a U.S. federally qualified health care organization, migrated to a virtualized desktop environment and ran into application interoperability and performance issues while relying on end‑user complaints rather than quantitative testing. To standardize validation and plan capacity for its Citrix XenApp/SBC deployment, the organization selected Login VSI and its benchmarking/load‑testing software to predict, validate and manage virtual workspace performance.

Using Login VSI’s repeatable workloads and detailed reporting, the IT team systematically tested users-per-VM, server and RAM configurations, proving it could reduce host infrastructure while improving end‑user performance. Login VSI testing showed 40–50 users per VM and up to ~200 users per host on legacy servers, enabled the environment to support 850 users plus an additional 100 partner users after migration, and allowed the team to support roughly 100 more client visits per day by speeding image testing, rollback and deployment.
