Login AM brings order to the Terminal Server Farm

LVR-InfoKom, the IT service provider for the Landschaftsverband Rheinland in Germany, manages two high-security data centers and delivers diverse, frequently updated applications to schools, clinics, museums and welfare offices. Facing rising user numbers and a complex terminal server farm that was partly manual and error-prone, LVR-InfoKom selected Login VSI’s Login AM to increase automation, reduce maintenance complexity and cut operational costs.

Login VSI deployed Login AM, integrating with the Citrix environment and Active Directory and rolling out to the majority of applications and servers within six months. The solution eliminated manual terminal server installations, automated software distribution and updates on a DTAP (Development–Test–Acceptance–Production) cadence, and enabled scheduled, error-reducing maintenance — supporting more than 11,000 authorized users (about half concurrent) with faster service, lower risk and reduced downtime.
