Mitre 10 gains much-needed supply chain visibility

Mitre 10 is a New Zealand cooperative of more than 80 home improvement and garden stores that faced a major data challenge: with over 80,000 SKUs across many stores, monthly sales and purchasing data existed but couldn’t be analyzed meaningfully. Tracking store and category performance, spotting trends and producing timely reports was slow and put a heavy burden on IT.

Logility implemented a data warehousing solution with pre-defined “cubes” that pull and transform data from Mitre 10’s ERP (via SQL Server) into easily drillable, department-specific views. The system sat on top of existing infrastructure, reduced IT reporting work, and was quick for users to learn—enabling faster reporting (minutes vs. hours), timely, accurate decision-making, better price and promotion adjustments, and strong ongoing support from the Logility team.
