Alspec® is an Australian market leader in the design and distribution of aluminium systems, with over 50 years’ experience, 14 locations and a 640‑strong team serving architects, fabricators, builders and renovators nationwide. Rapid growth and a rising SKU count exposed weaknesses in manual forecasting and planning processes, causing errors, inefficiencies and limited visibility across the supply chain.
Working with Demand Management Systems, Alspec implemented Logility Demand Planning (later migrated to a SaaS environment) to automate forecasting, enable weekly purchase/production dates and improve data management. The solution reduced manual errors, increased forecast accuracy and operational agility, improved cross‑team visibility and planning, and supported continued business growth.
