UnCommon Law - Customer Case Study

UnCommon Law, a small nonprofit law office in Oakland, California, helps people serving life sentences with the possibility of parole prepare for hearings and work toward release. In Logikcull’s CullCast interview, founder Keith Wattley described the challenge of managing growing amounts of mostly electronic case information with limited nonprofit resources while trying to move cases quickly and fairly.

Logikcull supported UnCommon Law by helping them handle discovery and case materials more efficiently through its eDiscovery and legal technology platform. The result was a faster, more manageable review process that helped UnCommon Law keep pace with rising data volumes and continue handling roughly 60 to 70 parole hearings a year, contributing to the release of dozens of people over time and millions of dollars in savings for the state.
