A LogicManager Case Study
International Air Transport Association (IATA), the world’s largest airline trade association representing more than 240 members and 84% of global air traffic, faced the challenge of maturing a global enterprise risk program to manage diverse, cross‑border responsibilities and break down siloed risk practices. Since 2006 the organization sought consistent, organization‑wide risk assessment methods and better integration of governance, business continuity and incident management to reliably evaluate controls and protect business objectives.
Roy Moseley, Assistant Director of CRM, led adoption of a standardized methodology—common terminology, processes and a recording/reporting system—aligned with COSO and the RIMS Risk Maturity Model. Integrating governance and risk functions improved insight across silos, earned IATA RMM recognition, and established ongoing monitoring of recorded risk portfolios and scores to close gaps and ensure assessment accuracy.
